I have just started to dabble in learning to draw correct anatomy, getting a better understanding of eyes etc.... It's challenging, but I'm seeing improvement every day and I'm really encouraged by it! I was recently given the option of illustrating a local author's children's book, and I couldn't be more excited! It has been the catalyst for me to further my knowledge in art, hopefully in more than one medium. The one I'll be focusing on first, though, will be line art and basic coloring and shading.... Wish me luck! <3

FINALLY. After four years I've upgraded to a premium account :) I wasn't sure if it would make much difference, but I'm enjoying the few small perks so far. I'm hoping that it encourages me to upload some more photos from the summer, and to take some more this winter. I should also start painting soon, as well as sketching. (there should also be some photos of a new tattoo I'm getting within the year ;) ) All in all, pretty stoked to get my ARTISTICNESS on! :D

I think it's about time I re-commit to photography and art... I've had a lot of surgeries done and been sick for the last three years, and now that things are starting to settle I can pick up my hobbies again :) I think I should post some pictures of the music festivals that I've gone to on here. Yes... Yes I think I will do so. AND continue personal portraits... I just love doing my make up and hair and experimenting with light etc :) Hope to return with some new Deviations soon!
